Jean-Loup Pagésy studied at the Centre de Formation Lyrique de l'Opéra de Paris.
On stage, he has already played Osmin in "The Abduction from the Seraglio" by Mozart, The Commander in "Don Giovanni" by Mozart, Sarastro in "The Magic Flute" by Mozart, Jim in "Porgy and Bess" by Gershwin, the Cappadocian in "Salome" by Strauss, Pistola in "Falstaff" by Verdi, Truffaldino in "Ariadne auf Naxos" by Richard Strauss, Y Aboul Far from "Caid" by Ambroise Thomas, Don Inigo Gomez of "L'Heure Espagnole" of Ravel, Nourabad of "Pearl Fishers" by Bizet among his most significant roles.
He also sings modern music and in particular created the role of Patera in the opera "The Other Side" by Bruno Mantovani, and that of Moushed Gogh in "Ubu Opera" by Vincent Bouchot, the Golem in the eponymous opera John Casken, a role for which he was critically acclaimed.
He has performed under the direction of James Conlon, Laurence Equilbey, Evelino Pido, Antonello Allemandi, Gary Bertini, Jacques Mercier, Arie Von Beck, Philippe Nahon, William Eddins, Antony Hermus, Bernarhd Kontarski ...
He was invited to sing at the Paris Opera, the Opéra de Lyon, Opera de Strasbourg, the Avignon Opera, the Edinburgh Festival and the Opera de Rennes, Nantes, Bordeaux, Metz. ...
